Renewal Of Driving Licence Online In Tamilnadu | How To Renew Driving Licence 2020 | DL Renewal

Hello Guys, In this post, i will tech you How to Apply a driving licence renewal in online. you have to pay rs.450 for transport renewal and rs.500 for non transport renewal. you have to apply the renewal before one year of renewal. else you need to pay extra amount for renewal and retest also applicable. So the renewal of driving licence within 1 year of expiry date is easy. Lets get started.

Steps to Follow:

• Open Sarathi From here – Click Here and then Select your state.
• Now Click on Apply Online > Service on Driving Licence and then click continue in the next page.
• Enter your DL number and DOB in next page and click Get DL Details. Click here to find Driving Licence number online
• Now Double check your details and validity periods. then Select YES in “Confirmed that the above Driving Licence details are mine” Box.
• Now Select your state and enter your pincode. The RTO Office Box will get automatically updated.
• Then click on proceed. In Next Page Enter your correct mobile number, Blood Group and Qualification if asked.
• Also Enter the same DL address in both present and permanent address box if asked.
• Now Click Conform to go next page.
• In next page Tick RENEWAL OF DL and then click Proceed.
• If your Permanent Address is Driving School Address then you have to update the Permanent Address like same as Present Address then click Update. If Not then don’t do anything in address box.
• Now Tick I hereby declare that to the best of my knowledge Check Box and Type the Captcha Then Click Submit.
• Now Click OK for all Popup Conformation.
• Now Print Acknowledgement, Form 1A and Application form(pre filled).
• Click on Next > Proceed > Submit > OK.
• Now You have to Upload 2 Forms.
• Upload DL Photocopy.
• For Form 1A, Print the Form 1A which you already downloaded and then get sign from Any GOVT Doctor and upload it.
• If your DL has Transport Vehicle Renewal Link Badge and Heavy then you may asked to upload FORM 5 where you can get in only from Driving School.
• Now Click Next and then click Proceed for Fee payment.
• Select the Payment Gateway as SBI and Pay the Fee Payment by using your any Netbanking/Card/UPI.
• Now Print the Fees Receipt and Click Next.
• Enter Your Date of Birth and Click Submit.
• Now Click Submit for LL/DL Service Slot Book. Now Enter the Security Code which received from your mobile number and then click submit.
• Click Proceed to Book and Select the Date When you can go to RTO Office.
• Select the Slot and Click Book Slot.
• Now Click Conform to Slot Book and Print the Slot Booked Page.
• Now You have Completed the All Steps.

Documents Required For Renwal:

• Take the Documents Like below Orders.

  • Fees Receipt Print
  • Acknowledgement Print
  • Application form(pre filled) (Put the Photo and Sign in 3rd Page)
  • Form 1A Print (Get Sign and Seal from GOVT Doctor)
  • Slot Booked Print.
  • DL Xerox and Original
  • Address Proof Xerox and Original.

How to Fix the Issues:

• To Fix All Common Problem Go to Apply Online > Application Status
• To Fix Uploaded Document Issue, Go to Upload Documents >Upload Documents/ Scanned Images and Enter Your Application Number / DOB
• To Fix Fees Payment Issue , Go to Fee/Payments Or Verify Pay Status.
• To Fix Or Change Slot Book Issue, Go to Appointments > Service On Licence(LL/DL).
